Features

  1. [Cloud/Console] Integrations The UI for the integrations feature has been introduced to the dashboard page. Users can now edit and troubleshoot their integrations without needing them activated by Connexa staff. Please see the integrations page of the docs for more info on how to use this feature on your account.

Enhancements

  1. [Firmware] 307 Error Report Time The time it takes for a NOI to self diagnose a 307 error has been extended from 2 hours to 24 hours. This should prevent accidental false alarms in the event of servicing a system.

  2. [Firmware] 307 Error Clearing The NOI will now clear 307 errors on it's own without needing to download the default firmware model. This saves on data and prevents any report windows from being missed.

Bugfixes

  1. [Console] Multiple Subscriptions Created Issue that could have caused multiple subscriptions to be created from the console in the event of unpaid bills has been remedied. No users were affected.

  2. [Console] New Users Billing Portal Error Issue that threw an error when new users tried to access the billing portal has been fixed. They are now forced to claim their first device before this option becomes available, preventing the error from occuring.

Features

  1. [Firmware/Cloud/Console] I/O The NOI hardware has had some basic I/O on the module since it's inception, and now we've added an easy way to utilize this capability from the dashboard. You can use the inputs to ensure that there is voltage being applied to certain load devices, or you can set one of the presets and use them in tandem with the outputs as a relay. The corresponding "Inputs" and "Outputs" tabs can be found on all device dashboards.

  2. [Firmware/Cloud/Console] Location Depending on the hardware configuration of a given system, we can now locate a given device within an accuracy of 3 meters to 3 city blocks. If the NOI is installed on it's own with no additional GPS unit, we will use the cellular information to provide a rough estimate of where the device is located. If there is a GPS installed, this estimate becomes incredibly precise. Regardless of the configuration of your system, you will now find a "Location" tab on the dashboard that contains a map showing where your system is installed.

  3. [Firmware/Cloud/Console] Load Run Modes This is the evolved "Daytime Only" feature. You can now set your load to one of three settings: Daytime, Nighttime, or Normal. This feature is particularly helpful in deployments that are struggling to keep their batteries charged. Since not all charge controllers have load terminals, this feature will currently only work on the ProStar and SunSaver models.

  4. [Firmware/Cloud/Console] Pause Alerts Alerts can now be paused for a 24 hour period from the device dashboard. There was no way to do this prior, and it can be a helpful way to avoid unnecessary concern if a system is being serviced or if it is waiting on repair.

Enhancements

  1. [Console] Tooltips We've added tooltips to some of the more complicated features on the console, which should hopefully prevent you from needing to go back and forth from your work and the documentation.

Bugfixes

  1. [Cloud] Subscription info was not always being stored when a device was claimed through the AutoClaim system. This has been remedied and all affected devices fixed.

  2. [Console] Device claiming through the console had a few bugs due to legacy components not having been removed. This has been corrected and claiming is working as expected.

  3. [Cloud] The AutoClaim system was still allowing devices to be claimed even when a subscription was past-due, resulting in users sometimes having multiple subscriptions of the same type in their accounts. This has been corrected and now the system will block any attempts at claiming devices until the past-due invoice is settled.

Enhancements

  1. [Billing] Subscription Changes Users are now billed only once a month regardless of how many devices were claimed. Previously an invoice was charged immediately as the device was claimed, which lead to a high number of invoices for some customers. The first invoice after claiming will include the prorated period that the device was active before payment.

Features

  1. [Firmware] Cellular Disconnect Watchdog We've added a software watchdog to the NOI firmware that will perform a full reboot of the device should it go offline for an entire day. This watchdog acts as a last ditch effort by NOI to try and regain cellular connection in the event the SIM card has been blacklisted by a local tower. The feature will be found starting in the following firmware versions:

    • PSMPPT 1.0.4
    • PSPWM 1.0.8
    • SSMPPT 1.0.4
    • TSMPPT 1.0.2
    • CXATSPWM 1.0.3

Enhancements

  1. [Cloud] Sleep Mode The previous sleep mode was rather aggressive in terms of waking up the device in order to check on cellular traffic. The updated version has been tweaked slightly so that the device will stay on for 5 minutes after every wake up request. This prevents repetetive calls to sleep mode, which in some cases resulted in the device losing cell connectivity. This enhancement will be found starting in the following firmware versions:

    • PSMPPT 1.0.4
    • PSPWM 1.0.8
    • SSMPPT 1.0.4
    • CXATSPWM 1.0.3

Bugfixes

  1. [Cloud] There was an issue where the AutoClaim function was not always resetting the device after it was claimed, which would result in malformed gauges on the console. This has been fixed and should result in more consistent claim behavior.
