Firmware

The firmware running on your Noi gateway is dependant on the charge controller it is connected to. They all have generally the same functionality with some small changes necessary for alarms and data conversion. This page contains a basic summary of common firmware functionality, for more specific information on what data is available through your device please visit the applicable Charge Controller page.

Charge Controllers

Data Logging

A handful of data points are logged every 2 hours and another group are logged daily. This lets us track and display system performance.

Alerts

All Morningstar Charge Controllers have alerts built in to them so that you can be made aware in real time of fault conditions such as Low Voltage Disconnects and hardware failures.

Load Control

If your charge controller has built in load control, you can toggle the state of the load remotely through the dashboard.

Temperature Probe

The Noi gateway has the ability to read temperature from a DS18B20 temperature probe. This feature is not yet released to the UI but if a temperature probe is connected it will begin logging along with the regular interval data from the charge controller.
